Just wondering if red wine can be substituted for acetone since I just spilled my nightcap all over some loose wheats sitting on my desk Luckily, they are commons that have some damage anyway lol.

Hehe. It's a local wine (New Brunswick) and I was enjoying it quite a bit (perhaps too much)! The wheats all have a certain degree of verdigris damage (some very intense), so I had set them aside for further review. I believe they are all '40s and '50s. They're dry now and non-the-worse for their ordeal
