That variety is characterized specifically by the pitting. Missing tailfeathers are extremely common with 1921's.

I need to see a picture of the eagles tail feathers near the bow to check for pitting.

Can you also take two more pics of the area you have already from different angles?

Right now from what you have it in conclusive to me.
