Besides e-bay, are there any sites that specialize in Canadian coins and have a good reputation for price/quality? I have acquired all of my Canadians from local shows and shops. I'm sure that I'm going to reach a point soon where it will be hard to fill my missing dates from these sources, as new Canadian coins within my local US sources are not available on a regular basis. I am actively collecting: - large and small cents - nickels - dimes * may jump in to quarters soon.
I am also looking at Newfies and Canadian bank tokens.
Any links that you have would be appreciated.

Most of the Canadian Coin websites or forums have B,S,T sections in them, although some require you to have xxx posts before you can ask for or sell something. They are pretty safe, because a dishonest seller/buyer is held up for ridicule in front of his peers. If you live anywhere near the border, I would try to get to one of the larger Toronto, Montreal, or Vancouver shows. Since you are back below the border, I would say that you should stick to an accepted CAND dealer (Canadian Assc of Numismatic Dealers) who have an honor code (you are not accpeted if there are "no" votes from the membership) and those that are in can be removed through any dishonest dealings. There are not that many (I'd say less than 30 in all of Canada. Buy a copy of the "Canadian Coin News", a bi-weekly newspaper with dealer ads, sales, auction notices, good stories, good columns, 4-6 pages of coin "trends", current research and book reviews. The subscription is cheap and it's a must for any Canadian collector. http://www.canadiancoinnews.ca

I have used wensy.com many times with no issues. It is like ebay, however, no fees for the seller. It is a free online auction site.

I already came across the colonialacres and jandm websites which looked pretty good, and since some members here recommend them it is a confirmation for me to use these sites. I will check out the other sites which were also recommended. I've come across an older hard-copy of the Canadiancoinnews and thought it was great. I signed-up for a free trial sample version of an older copy (they supplied a May 2012 copy) and I really liked what I saw. Thanks for that link. I will sign-up for a subscription.
