This one is not quite as nice as the first one I posted. Looks like at some point in its life a rubber band or something was on the reverse, causing two lines that break the otherwise uniform luster and toning. Obverse luster is a little better than the picture shows. Perhaps a focus or lighting issue.

What is going on with reverse? Is that a strike through or planchet issue (possible stains)? I really like the toning on the reverse of this one and would almost say I prefer this one over the other one.

I look forward everyone else's input.

I don't think it's a planchet issue. Looks like at one time some rubber bands (or something like that) were on the coin, affecting the toning in that area. The coin surface of those un-toned areas is intact, just silver instead of toned.

Appears to have had something sitting close to it to make those toning breaks on the reverse. No planchet flaw or striations.

I agree, a rubber band is a likely culprit behind the two "lines" on the reverse of the coin.

I would grade the coin a nice AU - I see what appear to be multiple areas of rub on the obverse high points.

Agree with commems ... high point wear on this coin leads me to a conclusion of AU.

Interesting marks on the reverse ... coin did not leave the mint that way ... suppose we will never know the story of how they got there.
