when the Valentines Day card your wife gives you has a 1939-D and 2009-P Jefferson nickel inside. Taped carefully to the card in their individual coin baggies. Ha, she pays more attention to my ramblings than I thought. Oregon coin geek.....*** GO BEAVS ! ! ! ***

Wow, can I give your wife my wife's info so she can do the same for me?
Sounds like you and your wife are on the same wavelength!

Yeah I will tell her to pass it on. She likes knowing what she can get me, coin wise, that makes me happy.

Any time coins bring people together is a reason to celebrate.
52Raymo, Such a wife is a joy unto your life. Cherish her, as I am sure you do.
Until coins are understood by a spouse or a child/parent, they remain inert pieces of metal. Once understood, even a little, these pieces become a bridge to love which will last a lifetime.

I am cheaper I am quite satisfied with nickels and dimes, rather than diamonds. And I am a gem cutter!

Lol freedom.
She probably appreciates that your easy to shop for but that is very cool that she is at least supportive as opposed to the standard reaction of an eye roll and "ugghhhh" lol

I must be in the same boat because one of my Valentines surprises was to get home and to find rolls of Canadian pennies hidden all over the house (so far I've found 25 but she claims there are still more hiding!). A very nice treat, and obviously took some forethought with the penny now out of circulation :)

I had a similar Valentines card, but with that card I got a small little handled bad with a pound of bulk world coins! Cheers to wives (fiance` in my case) who truly care about us!

I wish my fiance would do that. Maybe a few more years and she will learn. :)
