All George VI crowns were 38.5 mm.
What is the weight of your coin?
36mm seems a bit weird for a Comonwealth coin

36mm diameter is the size of the GB Elizabeth 2nd gold Five Pounds coins. They weigh 40 grammes.

I think that particular legend may be on a British campaign medal. Without the 'IND.IMP', it must be be tween 1948 and 1952. I dunno about British medals, I don't collect them, but they may be 36mm diameter.
