I got it at a car boot sale of a boy I usually deal with,he gave me it for free!
I dont know much about it so any info is great and I would especially want to know the price for the condition its in .
Thanks

The note is know as a Hansatsu. Thy were provinicial notes that first appeared around 1680. Your note is 19th century but the image isn't clear enough to tell much more.

As a rough estimate, given the quality depicted in the photos, I would say no more than a few dollars.
Here is a small bit of information I have about Hansatsu that may help you to understand a little more about them. http://www.banknoteden.com/Japan.html

From your photos, I cannot tell what it is. What I can tell you, is that they are not too much money for most of them. Prices have been going up lately, but they are a fun area to collect. Over the years I've paid about $8-$15 a piece, but I haven't bought any in the past two years due to higher prices and lesser quality.

While a neat novelty, there is little known about them in the west. The best site I used as a reference was from a polish collector, but that site has disappeared and I have very little to reference anymore. Even so, there was never any info. about an estimated number in existence, price guide, etc.
