Buy it, then crack it and use it as a pocket piece!

Enjoying the support CoinsKelly ... these are tough to find in honest lowball state. You might have missed my update on the Isabella ... now have a PCGS AG03 example ... an amazing coin that causes me to wonder what it experienced in the service of our nations commerce from when it was purchased in 1893 at a price of $1. Humbly sharing a photo ... amazed that it circulated so long to wear to this state ... and survived uncleaned and undamaged to finally find a home in my collection. 1893 Isabella Quarter Dollar - PCGS AG03 Please keep looking for that P01 for all of us dedicated to the tough task of finding honestly circulated classic silver commemorative. David

Actually, I did see it . I am determined to find a PO1 and watch you, HONDO and Not Mint To Be duke it out. I missed the G06 Isabella sale - had to do a grocery run for mom and by the time I got home to talk to hubby...too late. (Actually, he was making gumbo when I got home so I kind of got distracted )

However, they do have two 3s and seven 4s for the Isabella For the PCGS pop report coins with a P01 in the series are: Lafayette (2) 36-D Arkansas 93 Columbian (2) Huguenot Monroe (4) Pan Pac (2) 1920 Pilgrim 1926 Sesq (3) Stone Mountain (5) 34 Texas

basebal21-----------I'd love for you to find a PO01 Commem. These things are as scarce as Hens Teeth. I've been waiting for the 36-D Arkansas to show up for a long time. I'm sure that there is more than one setting in some dealers junkbox.
Coinskelly----As far as a want list goes I want anything lower than what I've got in my set.

Kelly that certainly would be quite the find especially if you get it for melt.
Mint Id love too, by no means was I trying to suggest those other ones were prominent. Theres a few commems I've been chasing with a population below 10 and I've yet to see one hit the market anywhere online. For their series theyre pricey but nothing that would be in a stacks auction or anything like that, assuming bidding doesn't go crazy a gold eagle is probably more expensive right now

I am looking for raw coins that might meet certification standards. Somewhere out there is a truly circulated example of every classic silver commemorative ... the joy of the chase is to keep looking and hoping it shows up for me. David

Nice find CoinsKelly! Thanks for sharing with us.
A want list is wayyy too long for me to share anything. I want/need almost everything!
Thank you very much for sharing. Please feel free to share anything you may come across...
I will watch with you from the sidelines as nickelsearcher and not mint to be duke it out... I stand down and give them first shot at any gems. They deserve it.
