I agree with the cleaning but it is less noticeable in hand, the pics really show it. Got this for $40.

I agree it has VF+ Details and has been improperly cleaned. A bit of unsolicited advice: Try to avoid coins that have their original surfaces removed. $40 is a fair price for this coin, but for a bit more you could find a piece without problems.

One thing I have learned recently that really helps... You may not notice the hairline scratches very well under artificial lighting, but take it out into the sunlight and see what happens... I unfortunately learned this the hard way
