Opening this in order to improve my photographic skills and to stop hijacking other members threads.! (apologies)
Please feel free to judge and comment on my Halfpenny die cracks and errors.! I do have some multiples with a few coins which I will be happy to trade at the end of my project. All coins (models) will be as found unless otherwise noted. (Conditions Apply.)
To make things simpler for me (as I don't require Gradings) I will only post one side of the coin if that is all that is required.

Robster, you might want to consider emphasing
the variety part of coin in conjuction with whole coin.

1926 1/2d Die Crack Rim to Inner Circle, plus minor date doubling.

Your first 1920 could appear :-
(Should have grabbed the fullsize not the thumbnail, sorry)

I try to work with Original file on PC.

Run it through Photoscape, crop and save the crop.
Using Combine add full coin, then add crop portion,
have Settings at Down and Large Picture.
Photoscape will Enlarge your Crop to match whole coin size.

I doubt that Photobucket have these tools,
I'm happy to use Mr Photoscape.

Nice idea for a thread robster.

I quite enjoy looking at errors in the earlier Aussie coins.

You have displayed the coin very well.! The close up insert makes viewing easy and practical.! Nice to think my coins have long lost relatives.

... would you believe it. The image was produced within Microsoft Word . The "purists" may scorn at this , but if it works - why not...
