This note was reently rescued from been sent to the dump ,Don't know much regarding grading of bank notes just thought I'd share with you guys anyway if you have an interest with it .
I will say that the scan makes the note look very good as in real life it's terribly faded and dull in appearance .

The lowest value for it in VG condition in Maccas is $45.

All you need now is for someone to give you an approximate grade. I'd hazard a guess at 'poor', but I don't know anything about grading. Just be sure to store it flat from now on.

Looks "Poor" to me. A pity about the stain in the middle. Store it in a book & one day pass it on. When you think that this is a note that is from 1949, you can really tend to appreciate it much more. There have been so many note changes between now & then, & even moreso, so many signature changes on the notes! Here's some details for you...RBA says that it's modern equivalent is $1.00, but with interest from 1949 to 2012, it'd be worth $25.10. A pity it's not pretty enough to be worth that much.

VERY GOOD - Such a note is just about at the end of its useful life. The note will display major discoloration and staining as well as numerous tears and even pinholes

Judging by this description I think the note is at least VG and probably gVG. The note doesn't appear to have any tears or pinholes and has only minor soiling.
