I never bid on it because I'm too unsure about VAMs and couldn't pin this one down, but I was tempted.

Someone got it for $38.56.

It's quite likely it was a Doubled Ear, because such a large proportion of 1889's (2/3 of them) have that feature. Most of them are inconsequential as VAMs go.
