This "1793" is presently offered on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/22118972702....m1423.l2649 Having never owned this variety, I checked it out in Breen. He's listed but two varieties, both of which have a lettered edge. Might this cent be a 1795 or 1796? I suspect that the seller is mistaken ... g048406 Pillar of the Community 861 Posts	Posted 02/19/2013 1:16 pm That coin is clearly a 1796 not a 1793....look at his 4th picture down in his description and you can see the "6". Also, the seller responded to a question regarding the lettered edge, or lack there of. Seller says it is a plain edge. There is no 1793 plain edge... Report this Post to the Staff
