I just got what I consider a great deal of $140 for 4, giving me a total of five. I have a feeling this coin will hit high 50's, mid 60 dollar range within 2 years.
In addition, it is such a low premium over spot, and over standard maples, I can't find a justifiable reason to not buy them.

@Anjohl: agree. I think any of the wildlife series SML is worth it if not priced too high above standard SML. None of the rest of the series will do as well as the wolf, but all are sure to rise higher than initial prices, offering a bit of a safety net against spot movement.
@Panda: The design is awesome but isn't the mintage something like 8,000,000 or higher? I would bet my money on pre 2011 pandas, all of which number in the 100,000s as oppose to millions.

@poboxw: Too bad pre 2011 pandas are more expensive now and hard to find a mint sealed sheet (30 coins)

That's the point. I don't see that the 2011 and later panda will rise like the pre-2011 did (and will continually do so).
@Anjohl: I'm still waiting for sealed sheets of the Antelope to come out, if they ever do.

The Pronghorn and all the other wildlife series coins only come in tubes of 25, not in sheets. Here in the US, you can still get the Pronghorn and Moose for close to bullion (e.g. Provident), but Grizzly Bear is out of reach already. As the series has finished now I wouldn't put all my eggs into this basket and pick the ATB bullion instead. Interest will probably wane in years to come, unless RCM decides to continue the series one day. It's certainly a better investment than SML though! I think they are more likely to continue the 1.5oz series. That's just my two pennies worth!

I think the whole wildlife series is plagued by quallity control problems. If you can maintain your collection milk spot free, you have something. But many, many of ones I've seen are covered with spots and look rather nasty and aren't selling for much more than spot + . I have been trying to put together a MS 69 collection and it is near impossible.

Omfxl They also come in sheets, they usually come out after the tubes.

OK, thanks for the info! Here in the US you can typically buy them only in rolls of 25 with singles being shipped in flips. Maybe a Canada-only thing?

omxfl Even in Canada most places only have tubes of 25, but I guess the bullion dealer can request sheets.
