purchased from a bank. Did not want to but ...I also walked away with 90 60's 70's and 80's nickel dollars.(FV)

Wow - this is amazing. I think back to so many pre-Loonie times of going into Canadian banks (Newfoundland through Alberta) and asking for dollar coin and halves and rarely ever being able to get any at all. They just did not have them. Up until around 2005 I used to get some rolls of nickels, dimes, and quarters to roll search for the fun of it. But I do not live near the border anymore

Makes me "homesick" since. although I have always lived in the States, Canada was my "second home" and I have not been there in over 6 years

Canadian banks are silently pulling all solid nickel coinage out of circulation; I got lucky with this haul.
