Couldn't pass these up when offered to buy them for $150 each.
Common dates, but still nice pieces. But darn hard to get good pictures of those tiny pieces.

How wouold you grade them?

Numismedia value in AU-55 is $252 and AU-58 at $270. If real you bought it those with bargain prices. Have you weight them?

1.67 and 1.69 grams respectively.
I'm not good at grading gold, but not sure if they would grade as high as 55 and 58, but that's just me comparing it to pcgs' photograding

Weight is good and both appear XF/AU with the 1852 having a shot at AU+ as you noted.

There is no way to authenticate these from photos but they appear genuine.
