It would be hard for me to tell without being able to test it. Somebody may recognize it but looks the same may not equal being the same.

How easy does it bend in your fingers?
What does it weigh?
What is it's length width and thickness
Possible to do a specific gravity test?

Would a scratch test be OK to find out how hard the metal is? There is also the Brinell cone penertation test to more accurately find the hardness.
X Ray florescence test should reveal the metals in the alloy.

width is 3/16th x 7/8th and length NA. took about ten bends to separate in 2 pieces. Bends in hands very easily.

Sorry, the match test is a pretty good one and that doesn't look very hopeful.

Never heard about a match test before. That's something new for me, although I would never try it on my bullion coins since I wouldn't want to stain them, let alone clean them afterwards. Are match tests reliable? It would seem the sulfur would stain anything, but that's just my views.

Eupion, yes the sulpher in the match stains the silver with a black tarnish. The more silver in the piece being tested, the darker the stain. I did this test on silver ranging from 10%-92.5% and I think I posted the results a little while back.
