I like our 50 cents...too bad that they do not used for common circulation. Sometimes I pay with them at my Starbucks, and people like to accept them ant to take away. Usually the roll costs $24.95, the 2012 could be found for $36.00. Single coin could be purchased via ebay for $2.00-$4.00. For the 2012 coins could be found - same design, but different finishes(from different sources): BU (from the roll), Proof (from the Proof set), Specimen, Fine Silver Proof. In the 1998 RCM issued as part of the 1908-1998 set Sterling Silver with Antique Finish, with design of 1908. Wish to see new design. Less care about the mintage - more people will see this con - more appreciation it will get. Edited by Silveroid

Mintage for special wrap 50 cent rolls:
2013: 15,000
2012: 10,000
2011: 7,000
2010: 6,000
2009: 6,000
I do like the wrapper for the 2013 rolls though.

MC members should be able to order On-Line tomorrow - or as soon as the 'ADD TO CART' button shows on the web page. These new releases will be announced to the general public on March 5th. |

Just put my order in.
2 x Duck Sub- I think these will be nice. Coloured over an engraved surface......
1 x Go7 - disappointing design but have to complete series.
1 x Dragonfly - Will probably add another once I see it.
Confirmed it is first in a series.

I was going to go for the duck subscription, but it seems to go against itself. The coins seem to be promoting conservation and they say it's great for bird aficionados, but then the subscription includes a duck call, which is used by hunters, right? These two things seem to be in conflict, but maybe that's just me.

Would like to see ducks non-coloured, as they appear on several loony coins. Now will pass on them, but may be later.
50 cent roll + Go7 will order right now.
Dragonfly...will be a hit probably, but IMO - it just a gimmick. Prefer this coin in the style of "Praying Mantis".
