Just got the 'advance notice' of new coins from my MC rep. Looks like I won't be trying to bid on that #20,000 penny roll  - that $600+ is going to be going towards some new releases ( flowers, ducks, and more ducks, birds, 1812, GO7, .50 roll, ...) It all adds up fast. Time to really look through the offerings and call my rep tomorrow. |

Talk about the 50 cents roll.
I am going buy my first 50 cents this year.
What is the market price for the 2012 50 cents rolls?

I'm relatively new...what is the 50 cent roll? Is it pennys or half dollars?

2012 50 cent rolls were $24.95 at issue. I generally see them sell between $25-35 now.

I'll wait a few days and see how the new coins look and some of the reviews. I like the dragonfly and 3 coin subscription to the ducks.

Saw these coins in the CP catalog...some of them look VERY nice, and surprisingly affordable. I will wait for the MC release.
The new GO7 looks terrible lol...but as with ALL of their coins, I'm pretty sure it will look 10x better in real life. Coincidentally, I thought the last coin (toronto street) would be awful...now its my favorite in the series!

I was hoping I didn't find anything I want... but so far.. I think I'll grab the bird, the 50 cent rolls and Maybe the mallard subscription or dragonfly.. depend on how they look... darn you RCM |

Why are the 50 cent rolls so popular? Do they appreciate much with time or does everyone just like collecting them?
If the dragonfly really is the start of a series I think I'll pick that up for sure. Still debating about either the hummingbird or the eagle when it comes out. I eventually caved in and got the arctic fox... was too nice in person to pass up.

I love collecting the 50 cent rolls and I usually sell a few, they always sell out reasonably quick. The new design is a nice touch, it should help them sell out a little quicker.
