I won't offer any opinion on authenticity as I am not familiar enough with the type to comment but I would hope that you bought it from a reputable dealer. There is nothing I see that particularly sets the alarm bells ringing but I am sure that someone will offer a solid opinion on whether its alright. And Zdravei, welcome to the forum. I can't say anything concrete other than the style looks just a bit off to me and the surfaces look a bit off as well. I recently sold this example, just for comparison. AR Hemidrachm.Obverse: Gorgoneion head facing; serpents around. Reverse: Bull standing,looking back; above, monogram; below, P I and vine-leaf.
