If you order a box of small dollar coins will there be Susan B. Anthony's in them and about how many? When ordering small dollar coins do you guys find any of the low mintage sacagawea's? The only SBA I find are 1979'sand I need to fill up my SBA book.

I posted this in another thread Project $100K. Circulating Dollar and Half Dollar Coins

most times I get boxes that came from the bank's supplier and they containing only one Pres. I try to get a box of bank wrapped rolls, and they are usually mixed SBA/SAC/PRES. The last box (not this one) had about 10% SBA (mostly 1979), and 90% Golden Dollars (I generally don't separate SAC/Pres).

also boxes of BWR, I have found impaired proofs, and painted/stickered coins. Once, I even found gold plated quarters, and English 2 pence coins.

I got my previous box of BWR on 12/10, and this was what I posted about its makeup.

Out of 1000 coins:
SBA 91
SAC 201
Pres 703 + 3 impaired proofs + 1 painted Franklin Pierce
& 1 wrong coin. Someone had mistaken a gold plated Statehood Quarter for a Golden Dollar

in my latest box of 1000 small dollar coins (BWR), I found 79 SBA. Most were 1979, but a few were 1980 or 1999

I think the SBA is going to be the next Eisenhower dollar. It seems that now that the Ikes have been gone for a number of years people are turning their attention to it to see if there are anything that was missed the first go round.

Since SBA is the next in line, in a few years the search for them will begin in full earnestness. I've been saving them for years, not rabidly but asking for them when I get to the bank. But yes it does seem that there are some that are hard to find, but I keep on looking.
