My first error and it is in terrible condition. Still exciting
I just scanned them and used paint to crop. Sorry pictures are blurry.

Congratz on the find. One thing to remember is that the WAM is a variety and not an error.

Not an error, mistake by me. Thank you Cladhunter

The white on the coin. Anyone know what this is and any acceptable way to remove it?

I do not recommend cleaning coins. That said, your coin is not of great monetary value so I would use an old well worn toothbrush and very mild soap and apply very little pressure. If "you" choose to clean it please post after pics for comparison.

Still better than my 1998 WAM, which is non-existent. Nice find!

I would love to see what VERDI-CARE™ can do for it.

I know that cleaning is a touchy subject with collectors and that why I asked for acceptable ways. No clue what the white is anyone?

BadThad always recommends following the polarity ladder: water, acetone, xylene. One at a time, in that order. Once the crud is gone, stop.

However, I have doubts about this particular crud, which is why I mentioned VERDI-CARE™.
Rest in Peace

JBuck Could the white be salt? Or early mold?

Good question. One that Bad Thad would be my go to guy for the answer.
