Went to the bank today and the teller asked if I wanted any of the new $20's. Naturally I said yes. She had $1400 (70 notes) and all of them were JC07. There are 46 that are consecutive and the others are in little consecutive pairs, trios or 5-6 notes etc Now my dilema: what the heck do I do with them. Maccas catalogue value is $65 but that is sky high. If I was to hold onto them do you think I would have a chance at getting $35 each on ebay? What would be the best way? I'm leaning towards one big lot and then the little lots seperately. Anyone here want a few? Edited by enworb 02/28/2013 12:55 am

You are blessed Enworb! You don't need to noodle when you have the tellers that well trained. Great pickup . I really don't think you should have too much trouble selling them, especially UNC. Goatie will probably have a better idea though. WOW! (Greeeeeeen with envy ).

What a great score- better than "money in the bank'. I see your dilemma- they will make you a profit but over what time frame. Hope it works out to your advantage.!

I'd be scared of getting that many. Any decent serial numbers? I actually had a great score of notes today out of around $1,500: There were some first & last prefixes & a decent condition $100 CS96. I'll post a pic on the noodle post.

I'm wondering if such fabulous finds without having even left the bank yet should be now coined "instant noodles"?

Enworb, one thing you should check is to see if the notes have any handling marks. Any notes that are graded aUNC are pretty much worth only face value.

From what I've seen theyre all flat and free of marks/flicks/dents. I dont want to finger them too much for fear of marking them myself.

Enworb, I think your $35 is quite realistic. (Wish I still had my notes and some spare cash as I'd have a pair at that price). With the only UNC competition on ebay seeming to be $55, then perhaps testing the water with a single and perhaps a consecutive pair would be a possibility. If they get snapped up too quick, you'll know you're too cheap. (Anything that turns $20 into $35 in a short period is a great return).

I'll sell em to people here for $25 each if people want em. I should be putting a few on ebay later this afternoon. Think i'll start with $35 and see how it goes. Like you say Unicorn the next is at $55 which seems very high.

Enworb, I am interested in one, can you let me know if any of them end in 08, or have 2008 in the serial at all, or more than one 8? Thanks :)
