I finally ended up with a couple keepers. I picked up 15 rolls from a bank I hadn't been to yet and the teller broke out a $500 box and was willing to bust it up. I only had $150 or I'd have taken the whole box. She was very friendly and even let me pick the rolls I wanted from the box. I didn't notice until I got in the car that one of the rolls had a 67 ender. Unfortunately that was the only silver in the lot but I did end up with a couple 2001 P mints, a 2010 and a couple other post 2002 halves. I was super excited as this is the first silver I've found. Now I just have to find somewhere to dump the rest so I can go back and hit that box again! As far as the post 2002's and the 2001 P mints, are they worth keeping? They are nice looking coins.

They are worth keeping if you have the room. Personally, I don't, so even the nice S-proofs that I find get tossed back to the wild. I keep only the silver, and when I assemble a roll of 40%, I sell those and buy 90% or 999.

Nice find, cash the rest in at another bank.

Wow, I wish I was finding so much stuff I didn't have enough room to keep S proofs.

I would keep the 2002 and newer. Or keep to sell them. You can get at least a buck apiece

Do you have a link to a buyer? I could get hundreds of those...my dealer told me he'd pay 49 cents for the nice proof halves.

What kind of dealer would be dumb enough to offer under FV? It should be illegal to try and buy $0.50 for $0.49. I have heard of people offering tuff like that. If they keep offering, they must get takers. At that price you gotta take it to the bank!

That's my point, he doesn't want them.

Picked up another 15 rolls from the same box. No silver but a couple more 2002 and later.
