Machine doubling. NGC probably would have labeled it if it had been DD.

Yeah I figured such. Although, I have picked Doubled Dies that were unattributed by NGC and PCGS in their slab. Thanks Trickworm

Don't they charge extra for attributions?

So unless you pay the extra charge they wouldn't put it on the label even if they know it's a variety.

That is true. I just purchased this coin off ebay not even knowing the Liberty was "Doubled" But I guess it is safe to say this is just Machine MDDO and not a DDO variety?

It appears to be machine. The doubling looks flat, shelf-like. Still a beauty. I need 1954 and below, and the 94 and 97 mattes to complete my Jefferson Proof set.

Another term to add with flat shelf life is that the devices are normal in size and the doubling REDUCES the size of the device. On a doubled die, the devices are enlarged.
