1893-O Morgan - May Be A VAM, Most Likely Not :(

Even though this 1893o Morgan showed signs of a old cleaning, I sent it to ANACS for verification it wasn't altered in anyway.

I was going to request they remove the "o" and add a "s" to increase its value, but thought they wouldn't have a sense of humor and keep the fees while body bagging the coin.

Upon closer examination I find a die chip in "G" in "GOD" and two die chips at the bottom right side of the arrow and wreath I was curious if this was enough of a die variety to add any type of premium to help offset the value lost due to being cleaned.

All Morgans are VAMs, in the same sense that all Bust Halves are Overton varieties. Unfortunately, there aren't any added-value VAMs for 1893-O; they're all pretty common. Only 4 different ones are identified for 1893-O - if you can post full-face images so we can see the date and mint mark positioning, we can determine which one yours is.

Thanks for the rapid reply. My grandchildren just arrived for the weekend and I will not be back here till Sunday evening.
