Welcome to Coin Community, vince22. Generally speaking, I don't usually even trust the surfaces of a coin in an SGS slab. This one looks pretty good, though, and I think it'll grade. It has the look of a "slider," could come back AU58 or MS63-ish. Hopefully the latter.

SsuperDdave,
Thank you, I look forward to being a part of the community!I sure hope it goes ms 63 :P It has great luster, and no apparent cleaning scruff marks. The luster is blazing, and pretty much scratch free. Hope it turns out a good investment.

It looks pretty good on my monitor. I hope you have a winner there and it comes back a solid MS. Good luck and keep us posted! And to CCF!

SGS had it at ms67 What a great deal, right!?!! No, I just bought it as if it was raw. Although the SGS holder probably scared off other buyers and saved me some money!

The coin looks good. This one is a tough call between whether it would grade AU-58 or MS.

Perhaps there is a tiny amount of wear on Libety's hair and on the side of the Eagle's head. Doesn't look like a weak strike to me in those areas. A couple of the rays are broken below the Eagle's right wing. AU58. Nice coin anyway!

Wear is not apparent with better pics. The broken rays remain, but there are not many surface nicks. With better pictures, MS62 or 63.

I'm going out on a limb and say MS64. Nice fields and not very baggy at all. Nice original toning starting along the rim gives it nice eye appeal.

Hey,I got it back from ANACS, and several of you were spot on, MS 63!!
would have been 64 but the scratches and broken rays on the reverse knocked it down a few points. I'm pretty happy with the investment! Sorry, I had a pic, but it didn't want to resize and upload

Good for you ... this is an approximate $700 coin in true MS63. Sorry I was late to the grading party ... would have said MS63. David

Congrats on that! I'm glad to hear someone has a success story with an SGS slab.
