My mojo was working overtime yesterday. I got two 90% silver halves yesterday from a local convenience store. A 1964 D Kennedy and a 1954 Franklin! I'll post pictures tomorrow as they are soaking in acetone due to some sticky stuff on both.

I went in and got a coke and smokes, when the lady at the register commented she didn't get paid yet and was wanting a coke, so I being the outstanding fellow I am got her one. I also asked if she had any weird coins I could buy and she said yes, and seeing as how I got her a coke she'd sell me the half dollars she had at their value $1.00.

I tried very hard to keep from showing my mood that looked just like this, , I even bit my tongue, literally.

My wife is tired of my FatMan waddle dance, but you poor souls are stuck watching me do it.

You the man and nice dance.

As I think of it I really enjoy the dancing fruit and what they generally represent.

Here are the photos after an overnight soak the Franklin cleaned up completely, the Kennedy about 90% so he's going to soak his head some more.

Very nice. I've never thought to ask clerks like that if they have any cool coins. Do you guys always do that?

I ask all the time when I go in to gas stations. Lately I have found two 1957 silver certificates, one Franklin half, and a 1964 Kennedy half. Oh, and a bunch of Canadian cents and one Euro cent last week.
