1 and 2 are Arcadius. # 4 appears to be an AE pentanummium of Justin I not enough bust detail to say if it's Sear # 77 or 92. May guess is 77.

Thanks much echizento. For the past few years I have wanted to get an Arcadius but being a 'cheapskate' always passed on the ones I saw. Two in on shot .... not bad. I may end up listing them for sale so I don't want anyone to go to extremes to ID them. I just wanted some confirmation of what I suspected them to be. My inclination on the Byzantine was Justin but wanted to hear someone else say it too. Thanks again

FVRIVS - I've got a front fancing Honorius. Its difficult to find them with the full facial features - good snatch!

Are these full facing coins scarcer than the profile version?

IGE - They are, but they arent rare. Plenty of them about. BUt the full features ones are expensive because thats the bit that wears away as soon as they enter circulation. Heres mine:

I usually avoid the 'bargain' bags at the local coin shop but this facing bust did catch my eye. The tiny 9mm AE looked so comical that I figured I could bite at $2 each and sell off some of them to recoup the expense. Long ago I found myself trading away my small bronzes to pick up larger sized asses and sestertii. As I have lately overspent picking up the Caracalla and Elagabalus Sestertii I need to now balance my accounts by freeing some of these little fellows. Some of them will be going up tonight or tomorrow.

I wish I could find bargain bins of uncleaned coins... $2 each and they had that in there? Thats a steal.
