Another small addition to my collection. While I like large crown sized silver coins (who doesn't) a worn piece of copper has just as much history.
Frederick Christian was quite an interesting ruler, the dichotomy of being prince who leads troops into battle and a religious leader (peace, forgiveness and all that) seems rather alien to todays sensibilities.
Over the course of the years around the turn of the 17th century he changed (or was forced to change) his position on France, turning from an ally to a adversary, allied with William of Orange


The coins is well worn but it has history.
