Hi everyone, pretty cool site! I hope I'm in the right area for posing this!
I have 2 coins I found in Turkey over 30 years ago, and had misplaced them, There's not too much detail but I thought I would see if anyone may can tell something about there origin.

Thanks,
Kendall

The first coin is a Byzantine Folles, A folles is equal to 40 nummi indicate by the Letter M. There isn't any etail left on the obverse so I can't tell her the emperor but it is most likely to be Justinian I.

The second coin also appears to be in the style of a Byzantine coin, but I'll need to do a little more work to pin it down.

Well I'm not finding the second one, I know it's probably an easy one but I'm stumped. Prehaps someone else will get it.

Leo VI The Wise with Alexander Co-Emperor Byzantine follis? Not sure what the reverse on your coin is but the obverse made me think of that... or Justin and Sophia though I am just guessing...
