Alabama And Mississippi Confederate $100.00 Bills

owenmyers New Member United States 11 Posts	Posted 03/03/2013 5:50 pm I have these two Confederate $100 bills one is from Alabama 1864 and the other is from Mississippi but I can't date it. The Mississippi bill is only printed on one side. I can't find any other bills like it online and I'm hoping it's a rare piece. Were they real they would have been printed on a thin rice paper not the parchment like paper they are on. These are common reproductions that are sold at many historical sites. The ink in the signatures would have contained iron and would have faded to a brownish orange color. Report this Post to the Staff
