1828 Half Cent 50% Off Center Strike Error...any Info?

AGpartners New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 03/05/2013 10:32 am I recently came across this 1828 Half Cent that is Off Center Struck. It is an easy AU grade. I have seen only one other I was able to find online in Chanell Coins Private collection but there was no info on it. Any one have an idea of value and rarity? Thanks all. Here is an AU from Heritage it sold at $7500 in 2008. http://coins.ha.com/c/item.zx?saleN...14&lotNo=983 A lot of the off center Half Cents I ve seen in auction sold for $800-2500 but rarely ever above VF condition. An AU which that appears to be, is amazing.
