That's a good question...this is the first certified coin that I've looked up and haven't had it come back with results.

Interesting...

To me that toning looks artificially applied. I wonder if anyone is doing vapor deposition coating, like the procedure for producing dichroic glass or coated topaz/gemstones?

Cert not verifiable? Seems like a red flag.

This happens on occasion, not being able to view certain certification numbers. There is an option when coins are submitted that the owner chooses not to include them in the public viewing pool.

This just in...this coin is also illustrated as "The Moose" (Banded Rainbow Toned);

Seems like somebody is trying the "borrow someone elses images" tactic again.

The images have the same properties (pixel size).

Yes, that is where I obtained the images. Apparently, most of the toned Morgans on that site have been sold. I thought it was an interesting read, even with all the extra "scientific" analysis.

To anyone that thinks that type of toning is fake or easily applied really needs to prove it by showing us how its done. I have yet to see someone fake the 'pullaway' toning convincingly, and these coins do have that in spades. Morgans have come straight out of bags like that with the monster toning, just look for the old Wayne Miller Morgan and Peace dollar Textbook; he has lots of nice examples photographed in that book.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. Just one question, Why does it look like there is a nick on the neck on both coins in the same place?
