"How do you know this is dknies1947?" A couple of giveaways... 1. Same exact styles of pictures 2. both users are out of Palos Hills, Illinois 3. the new user name was registered on ebay 12/26/12, just days after dknies1947 was NARU'd from ebay4. she was born in 1947, and seems to have a need to have a 47 in her user names...dknies1947...tracy47918040.... 5. The 1858-o %10 Liberty was listed for sale by her on her last eaby auction before she was thrown off ebay. I gather she was born on 04/08/1947 or 08/04/1947

g048406 Great eye old man ! I agree this unethical behavior but somehow I see ebay letting this go through. They stand to make too much money off of it and its not illegal to crack open a slab. I'm gonna report it but alas I feel it will do no good. Remember there is no honor among thieves.

If reporting, don't forget to draw the parallels with a NARU seller; that'll help.

ebay has removed the 1860-o Seated dollar for misrepresentation (Lying).....Hopefully the 1858-o will be removed next and even more hopefully, tracy47918040 (aka dknies1947) will be NARU'd soon.

Oh god, seems like the problem is getting worse. I busted someone a few months ago cracking slabs, which set off a huge firestorm of posts here and on the other forum. They were buying problem slabs from Heritage and other sites, cracking the coins and selling on ebay. Don't think ebay ever did a darn thing, and I got tons of flack for calling the kettle black. That, along with my experience in the Flyin Club, rubbed me so raw that I didn't think about a single coin until I happened upon a problem-free 1829 Bust Dime in VG for $10, just a few days ago. That was enough to get bitten by the bug, again. Y'all see that show called Amish Mafia? We need the coin mafia to ruff up these punks.

ebay just removed the 1858-o $10 gold listing of tracy47918040 (aka dknies1947). Thanks everyone that reported this scam listing. ebay is cracking down on these crack-out scammers. Hopefully she will be NARU'd soon.

Yeah, I'm glad to see that they were removed. Man, I hate scammers. I just don't understand these dishonest people. I don't think they'll ever ruin this hobby completely, although they might ruin it for certain individuals, but they sure are a pain in the butt. I'm inching closer and closer to buying only slabbed coins on ebay. Thanks for doing your homework, g048406!
