Found off Florida Keys while snorkeling. Heavy 12cm coin. Appears to be gold though I have not had it professionally checked. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Thanks for everyone's help with this...looks like I got a good lead. Maybe it ended up on the Keys shore by way of Atlantis!
