Hi guys I need an expert on Morgans.I bought this today off a trading site and didn,t see the cracks on the pictures they posted ,the coin looks to be in great condition Paid $32US for it.Do the cracks add to detract from or have no effect on value.feel free to grade .Thanks:)Jase

Look more closely at the UN in UNITED, and the LL in DOLLAR, and tell me what you see.

Ok Superdave,i have had a look and the second L in dollar has alot of crud around it as does the UN,very similar to what it would be like if it had come out of a sand mould.Do you need pics?Thanks:)J ASE

Oky doky,I think I have maybe?a 3c VAM.The un and the ll look the part but I can't see any mention of the die cracks around the STATES and the AMERICA.Am I close?Is it a good VAM to hold onto or were there lots of them?

see if this is what you are seeing http://www.vamworld.com/1921-P+VAM-3C2 what you are describing sounds like pitting and I believe this is probably what you are seeing here
