The Unicorn, I totally agree with you about the existing of fake coins from China. In fact, during years of Chinese coin collection, I have seen numerous fake coins. Some of them are quite difficult to tell. The coins in the pictures you attached here (much appreciate for that!) are fairly easy to judge since they have sandy surface, bold characters and unnatural toning, not the case of the coins I show. As enworb said, the little bumps on the rim is suspicious, which is also what I am doubting about the coins. I do not know if these are the "higher-end" fake coins or genuine...
