https://goccf.com/t/141966https://goccf.com/t/143149https://goccf.com/t/142655https://goccf.com/t/139214I'm guessing the grader/attributor (are those the same person?) simply had "FM" in their head for an assayer of these years of Bust 8R and didn't take a careful look at the coin itself since they didn't realize there was a REASON to look carefully...
If you are at least slightly familiar with this coinage and have a fairly keen eye, it should be apparent that this is the usual "F F" assayer seen of the vast majority of 1783/El Caz pieces. The top bar of the 2nd "F" is gone, but most of the vertical stem is there, connecting to enough of the middle horizontal bar (with flared end) to be certain.
NGC just magically created $7,500 in money... an economic driving force!
