the best thing about this dime is the honor it has of being a first year Civil War issue out of the City of Brotherly Love

mmmm, cheese steak

I would argue that this makes an MS dime due to what I imagine is bag wear on the obverse
that is not circulation wear
plus the luster is decent enough
i would imagine a touch more luster and it makes 63/64

for you variety hunters, its an F-110a and I am fortunate enough to own this plate coin

That is one awesome coin. I would be shocked if it wasn't MS.

Im confused about the wear on the obverse. It looks like just plain wear, and with that I'd give it an AU 55, but if its just bag wear, then it must be really bad bag wear, and I'd give it a MS62. I guess you could call it a slider

It is a little nicer than the 1871SLD you posted previously.

I think this one would go MS-62.
