I need a early Bust quarter for my 25c type set, and I came across this one. I would like to hear some opinions on originality, and grade before I decide to purchase. It is in a problem free PCGS holder and from what I have seen with other examples, this one has a pretty good reverse strike. Let me know what you think, thanks.

This one had good eye appeal with the circulated cameo effect and had a nice VF grade. I have only seen dreadfully worn examples of these. It all comes down to price as you are also impressed with it's appearance.

Very nice piece. Reverse, obviously nicer than the obverse, I'd split grade at VF-25, possibly 20.

Tough call from small images but I'm more in the F15-VF20 range with it. $1400, maybe, in a PCGS VF20?

I can't go any higher than F15.

Nice coin.

Good looking coin. From my very limited experience with this type I would say F15 - VF20.

I agree with Fine 15, and a nice coin worth considering.

Might make VF-20 but surfaces look faintly granular in these images. There are a few small rim defects, most obviously at 2:30 on the obverse. Color is nice and the reverse is pretty well struck which is not the case for many of these coins.

I need one of these also and would take a second look at this one. If surfaces are better than what these photos suggest this could be a winner for you.

I'll agree with VF-20. I have an 1805 in an NGC F-15 holder and this one seems to be a tad better. If it doesn't go 20, it's darn close.
