I have been using the Uni-Safe Unimaster Coin Albums for years. I need to buy a couple more. I was going to do that and then noticed CWS Gardmaster in the Canadian Coin News. I have not seen that system in person. Call anyone compare/contrast the difference between the two?

I have switched out of using coin pages and albums that have chlorinated vinyl plastics in their manufacture.
There is a plasticiser agent in PVC to soften the material. Over time the plasticiser gasses out and condenses onto the coins. Because the pages loose their softening agent, the pages weaken and eventually tear at the welding joints, or at the binder holes.

Another very annoying problem that I used to have is that the cardboard / mylar 2x2's that I still use, would stick inside the PVC album pockets. Occasionally, if I wanted to remove the coin, the 2x2 and the album page would have to be destroyed in the worst cases. I am very glad to see that problem behind me for good!

Choose a clear plastic material that does not use clear PVC (poly vinyl chloride).
The album pages I use are made of clear NON plasticised poly propylene.

Now, almost all of my coins are in cardboard / mylar 2x2's in album pages made of polypropylene, not PVC.

Just found them on line. Anyone heard of them - a binder with removable pages.

I found that the UniSafe folders left a white ring on the edges of the coins, nothing permanent, but still a white ring around every coin in the folder doesn't look good.

I use the NUMIS removable sheets in the binders - they are great, no issues in the past 2 years since I switched.

I ordered a couple of CWS Gardmaster albums for quarters and dimes. I think I will like them. I like the idea that the years, etc. are on a page behind each sheet of pockets. Has anyone made an Excel or Word template to custom-make their own? It seems plausible but would be nice if somebody had one that they would not mind sharing.
