Thats a lot of money if you ask me. I think I would rather spend that kind of money on a golden eagle or a buffalo gold. What about you all?

I am going to have a great collection of the Presidential dollars, its a shame that they will not release these coins in a basic proof coin to match the presidential proofs. I cant drop 1700 bucks a year on these things. I do predict these will be very valuable down the road.

I wish they would have a normal circulation too. Like in a copper-nickel type or bronze version. Heck even in a Silver version would appeal to a majority of serious coin collectors. I doubt I will Ever get one of these unless there is a VERY generous member on here and I look VERY pathetic.

With the multitude of serious coin collectors that are just waiting to get their hands on one of those new 'Spouse' coins, they had better have a large supply of order forms on hand.
Get your orders in now before the price goes up. Don't be crushed in the stampeed.

Bronze medal versions of the Presidential Spouses will be available when the gold proofs are released.

Individual product options will be available beginning June 19, 2007 at 12:00 Noon (ET).

Hi, I'm new here and this is my first post. Have been thinking hard about the Presidential spouse coins and was looking for more opinions on these coins. Now that they will be available individually I might be able to afford just one.

There is one that looks particulary intersting and that is the 3rd Spouse Coin. As far as I know this will be a historical first in naming Lady Liberty a First Spouse?

If any of you had only one choice among the four which one would it be?

Thanks and good meeting all of you.
