bobbyhelmet Pillar of the Community United Kingdom 2838 Posts	Posted 03/18/2013 1:49 pm Bought this coin about a month ago from a European auction site (not ebay) and have been patiently waiting for it to drop through the letterbox. Its a type I collect so I would have bought it regardless of how it looked, the sellers pictures made it look a little brown and boring but I was happy with that. Sellers picture. What arrived was a very pleasant surprise indeed FL VAL CONSTANTIVS NOB C - Bust right, Laureate. GENIO POPV-LI ROMANI - Genius, naked standing left, modus on head holding patera and cornucopiae 296AD - RIC VI Lugdunum 17a (p243) Black patina rubbed off at the high-points where the exposed metal has toned to a beautiful copper/red colour and a smattering of verdigris, it might be the nicest looking coin I now own! I think I even prefer it to my green 17b picked up a few months ago. Report this Post to the Staff
