I'm looking to purchase San Francisco uncirculated Lincoln Cents from 74-95 to fill-out my Dansco folder.

Any recommendations on how to get the Linc's without having to buy the uncirculated sets for each year?

1974-S was the last year of uncirculated Lincoln Cents. 1975-S to date are Proof only.

There are many people who break open these mint/proof sets to obtain the coins of their liking and sell/give away the remainders. Once you obtain the minimum amount of quality posts and the days, I am certain that someone within the CCF can assist you in obtaining the coins you are seeking.

He's asking where to buy from. I would use ebay, or get a coin magazine and you could buy from that. I have lots of 1969s but I see you don't want them. Perhaps I can't sell to you because you need 50 post to buy. I think 250 to trade.

Thanks for the help guys... There are some great ideas that I didn't find through my own research. Since, I'm new to the site, I just want to clearly state that I'm NOT looking to break or shortcut any of the site rules. There are many years of experience here and I'm looking to tap into that. I've waited a long time to work this part of my collection, so there's no rush the the finish line... "Patience" is a virtue, but for a coin collector, it is a watchword.

Yes that is true. The collection you want to build is around 80 dollars to buy them all. You might find a great deal on them but always check the feedbacks. If your not sure just post the links here for us to view the coins too. I have some proof wheat cents and some Lincolns I bought from ebay for around 3 dollars each. They were very nice too. If you want, I'll list my three trusted ebay sellers.

You should check ebay or like one of the guys mentioned, try a vendor highlighted in a magazine like Coin World or Numismatist. A company like Coast Coin has the full run of proofs for one price.

solotime... I would appreciate your information on trusted ebay sellers. I've had extremely good luck there with coins and other stuff, but the very few bad experiences are enough to make me wary.

I'm the worst coin show person ever. I always go with some target coins in mind, but almost never accomplish the mission. I find that there are a lot fewer distractions at ebay, or some online coin collector's sites.

I only found these sellers. I thought I had more? Anyway, they can be trusted with the coins and sell good amounts of proofs but not always they will have the Lincolns. Perhaps, Lotsofmotts you can ask him if he got the coins you want sometimes. I did it a few times.

Here's something cool:

Thanks for the help! I really appreciate all of the advise and assistance... mission accomplished. I was able to find a seller with an excellent reputation at another coin site (I won't put the name... the last time I did, my post got auto-corrected) who had all but 4 of the S Lincoln cents. It cost me $53... not a steal, but certainly a reasonable price.
