Has anyone heard of a DDO on a 2012 presidential proof coin? I believe I have found one. An email with pics was sent to Ken Potter and he hasn't replied. It's been about a month now. I need to retake pics because I haven't been able to get a hold of the pics originally sent to Mr. Potter. The images were taken at a coin shop where the dealer took the shots. I will try to get pics up but I'm a hard time getting good images. I appreciate any comments. Thank you.
I know pics are a must. I'm working on it. I'm also trying to get those images taken by the coin dealer.

Also it may take days for me to reply since I am using a computer outside of my home and work.

I hope this downloads okay.

This is the best I could do. Where I notice possible doubling mostly is on the ear, the crown (the windows) and the hairline above the eye.
Also not as evident is nose, and the bottom lip. I'm thinking it might be Machine Doubling. When I was at the coin shop showing this to the dealer another man entered the store and offered to look at the coin. The man introduced himself as the author of the top 100 Morgan dollars, David ?. He is the person who offered to send the images to Ken Potter and emailed the images to Mr.Potter on the spot.

I thought I would have received a few replies. Is the image that bad? I suppose what seems apparent to me is not so to others. Any suggestestions will ceratainly be appreciated.

Looking closer at the doubling in the crown, it appears flattened and reducing the design. So I'm thinking Machine Doubling.

If you have a normal coin and can take an image just like you did on your image, maybe something will stand out as enlarged? Sometimes a side by side helps a lot.

Thank you Coop. I did get the images from the dealer but it will be several days before I get those up and they are excellent images not like the one I took and posted here. I will take images of a same type coin to compare in the meantime. My thoughts were Machine Doubling but the other man was thinking it was a true doubling and sent the images to Mr. Potter and so I am now very curious to find out what it is. Thanks again.

Looks like the image was taken with a ring light? That makes it hard to see light and shadows. I have a ring light, but don't use it as it drowns the coin with light.
