My guess is single HP with light coming from the right to left...

..and maybe a thick clear coat on top...Lots of shine on the HP in that pic...

When I look closely at the OP's pic,..all I see is a bright shiny surface with a bright reflective ring caused by the round surface reflecting the light down the right side of the piece. (light coming from right to left in this case)

When I look at the bottom of the "H" right side, I see no doubling at all.

When I look at my pic,...the doubling is at all key points and very visible... Mine has a step and a shift in the visible doubling.

I agree it's not a great double like yours is DEVLEC. But the cross bar on the H is so thick.
All the letters seem to have double bottoms stacked one over the other. It is very different from my other silver dollars of that year. I agree that my close up camera isn't the best (cheap chinese made ebay special).

Thanks for your opinions.

Mine's doubled ...no more and no less.

My bar across the H is large as is the OP's. I see no doubling at the bottom of the OP's as you feel you do.

I see reflecting bars of light with the huge blowup on his.
He should turn his coin upside down and take the pics again with the light coming from the same right to left direction,.. and then see if the bright and dark shadows just change sides.

I doubt that you are checking this thread anymore but I'll say it anyway, I think you have a minor double HP, could we please have pics if the ear and word IMP please?, that would help me determine if it is in fact a DDO aka double HP.
Feel free to call me Will.
