Every machine made in the last 27 years is able to take dollar coins. It has nothing to do with the makers of the machines, it is the people who own and maintain them. And all it takes to convert a machine to accept the dollars is when you are restocking the machine flip te switch on the coin mechanism from "reject dollar" to "accept dollars". Then take a screwdriver and loosen the screw on the restrictor plate by the coin slot. Slide the plate over and tighten the screw again. There you go, your all done and its ready for dollar coins. Total time 10 to 15 seconds per machine. Report this Post to the Staff
