This question could be applied to other denominations as well, though my question concerns
Roosevelt dimes.
My newest set that I'm working on is silver
Roosevelt dimes, 1946-1964. I had the opportunity to get some dates as proofs. From a "purist" standpoint (so to speak), is this preferable, when completing a set, or is it considered preferable to just get "high grade" circulated, given the choice? (No, I don't want to spend the $ for both.)
