Very nice pics as well as nice coin.
Question for the untrained eye (mine)
What are you showing with the closeup of the face?

No, he's as far from Vermont as you can get. I imagine his views on the subject are much like the advice on Philadelphia real estate I give people who visit my home: "It's always better to live in the house from 1979 with the view across the street of the houses from 1728 than the other way around!"

Possibly.

It looks like a standard desk lamp. Does it come apart from the base? If so, I would just replace the desk lamp I have now so I could use the existing mount (which is a semi-custom rig).

Not sure, I'll check when I get home.
ELS is a kind of unique place. Everything in there is new but out of the box. The power cord was wrapped in cellophane and brand new.

Cool!

There are two rather lighting businesses near me. I used one of them when I built my first house and remember they had a large assortment of lamps, not just installed lighting. I might have to see what they have these days.

It looks like the LED light is evenly distributed.

Yeah, this lamp is great. Large circle of evenly distributed light ;)
Color of coin is close enough for my skills.
